A shampoo that does it all? We think so! If you’re looking for a shampoo that takes your hair health seriously, look no further. This bar is made with the extract of fresh Henna leaves, helps to soften hair, promote hair health and improve its quality. So whether you’re a henna user or not, this shampoo bar is ideal for repairing damaged hair and helping to fight dandruff. Plus, it regulates oil secretions to combat dandruff and itchy scalp.

Henna, botanically termed Lawsonia Inermis, has been widely considered to be a highly important medicinal herb since the Ayurvedic age due to its various benefits for decorative body art and hair colour. We at Herbal Me also offer an extensive range of Natural henna-based Hair Colours for naturally colouring different shades of hair.

Our Henna shampoo bar is also enriched with Bhringraj, which contains proteins and antioxidants that eventually soften hair, promote hair health and improve its quality.

Directions

  • Rub the wet soap on your hands until it lathers.
  • Using your hands, work your way to the scalp and hair, foam will increase, as you apply.
  • Rinse with water. For people with very dry hair - use a conditioner afterward.
  • It may take 6-8 washes for your hair and scalp to transition to a 100% natural shampoo.

How is a cold-processed soap different?

The first usage of soap can be traced back to ancient Babylonia as early as 2800 B.C. Inscriptions on the excavated cylinders indicate that fats were boiled with wood ashes and water.

The modern saponification process requires Sodium Hydroxide or Lye, an alkali to turn oil into soap, none of which remains in the finished product. The chemical ones came in commercially after World War 1 in response to a shortage of fats to make soaps.
