HOW IS A COLD-PROCESSED SOAP DIFFERENT?

The first usage of soap can be traced back to ancient Babylonia as early as 2800 B.C. Inscriptions on the excavated cylinders indicate that fats were boiled with wood ashes and water.

The modern saponification process requires Sodium Hydroxide or Lye, an alkali to turn oil into soap, none of which remains in the finished product. The chemical ones came in commercially after World War 1 in response to a shortage of fats to make soaps.

Kumkumadi oil is a natural oil that aids in skin nourishment. It is an ancient, classical Ayurvedic skin oil formulation. Crocus sativus is the plant referred to as kumkuma, which is also known as Saffron or Kesar. People take this plant, which is thought to aid in the development of vibrant and luminous skin. Saffron oil is what it's called, and it's been used to improve skin health for ages. With continuous use of Kumkumadi oil, the benefits for the skin can be seen to be effective.

USAGE RITUAL

Rub the wet soap on the moist body until it lathers.
Alternatively, you can also rub the soap in your palms until it lathers, then spread it on your body.
Scrub using a loofah or shower mitt then rinse off gently.
